Wednesday, February 3
Blue Moon will be hosting a beer dinner on Wednesday, February 3rd. Join us from 6-9 PM for what is sure to be a great night! A representative from Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston, NC, will be here to talk about the brewing process and answer any questions you may have. We will have a delicious 5-course small plate dinner paired with the Mother Earth brews. We should have a finalized menu next week so stay tuned. This will be a rare ‘once in a blue moon’ opportunity to make a reservation at Blue Moon. Space is limited so please book early (252.261.BLUE). $60 per person.

Bring your sweetheart to Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar for a romantic date on the water. In addition to our regular lunch and dinner menus, we will offer a special pre-fixe dinner and champagne & oyster specials. Eat oysters = love longer! We will be sharing our Valentine’s Day menu soon.
Thursday, March 17 — St. Patrick’s Day
Blue Water is excited to participate in our first Taste of the Beach Event! We will be hosting Tapas From the Water…On the Water. If you are surrounded by water, shouldn’t you dine on the water? Yes! Join Chef Evan Hayes for a multi-course sampling of fresh seafood tapas thoughtfully paired with wine from around the world. The menu will include fresh Outer Banks oysters, lobster and white truffle mac & cheese, and a local white fish ceviche. The panoramic marsh views from the Pirate’s Cove Marina will complement each bite!
This event has a rolling start time and can be enjoyed anytime between 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. Our full Blue Water Grill & Raw Bar menu will also be available so feel free to bring the kiddos and anyone else who would prefer to order off the regular menu. Friday, March 18
The Taste of the Beach events continue on Friday with the BBQ & Wing Showdown. The event will be held at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head and is expected to have 600 attendees. We will join in the competitive fun and our chefs will be smoking a hog on site. Can you smell the BBQ goodness that will fill the air?! Tickets are $22 for adults and the event runs from Noon – 3 PM.
Saturday, March 19
We will close out our Taste of the Beach week with the Outer Banks Annual Chowder Cook-off. The event takes place in the Southern Shores Shopping Center (by Coastal Provisions) from Noon – 2:30 PM. There will be live music and other fun stuff too. Local oyster farmers Bill & Ryan Belter will also be on hand steaming up their Hatteras Salts Oysters! Blue Water’s chef Evan Hayes will prepare a delicious chowder and we hope to see you there!
