Coastal cuisine is more than a menu; it’s a lifestyle. Our story revolves around Jess and BJ, the heart and soul of our restaurant. With nearly two decades of rich experience and a deep-sea devotion, together they craft a treasured dining experience.
On the dock in Pirate’s Cove lives Mimi’s Tiki Hut—where fishing legends, seaside eats, and live music meet. Watch charter fleets sail through the marina and see why we honor the Blue Marlin every day.
“The food here is some of the best seafood in the Outer Banks. Blue Water Grill is in Manteo and right on the water, and they have a spot called Mimi’s where you can grab a drink while sitting outside the restaurant. We went and walked on the dock after dinner. The service was fantastic, and is the perfect place for a date night! I could eat the tuna tacos every day.”
Brendan
“Can’t beat this place. They took the fish we had just caught on our charter hours before our reservation and created a delicious dish for the whole party. The water views made our experience even better. There’s wheelchair accessibility—it is upstairs, but there is a ramp and a wheelchair to get there.”
Amy
“By far one of the best restaurants in OBX, NC. Everything from the oysters to the clam chowder to our entrees was delicious. It is rare that a restaurant can get every dish just right. We will definitely be returning.”
Benjamin
“The Blue Water Grill restaurant is upscale and fun! Recommended by our charter captain, we had dinner in the air-conditioned patio overlooking the gorgeous marina. Reservations accepted; great spot to prop your kids by the window while you enjoy oysters, risotto, tuna, or even a burger.”
